We believe that high quality samples and data are critical to the success of your research project. At UK Biocentre Quality is achieved through a quality management system that includes processes, consumables, reagents, and staff training.
System maintenance
All UK Biocentre’s sample processing and storage systems have manufacturer maintenance contracts with appropriate SLAs to cover routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
Sample security
All critical systems are supported by redundant backup generators and swith to internally generated source in the event of a power cut.
All data are backed up off-site daily, weekly, and monthly and can be re-configured within days.
Automated storage systems have an independent UPS to preserve data and allow continued operation during any switchover period.
All manual freezers have temperature monitoring and alarm systems.
The facilities have remote monitored CCTV.
