DNA Extraction
For DNA extraction we use a magnetic bead technology and customised commercial kits for both Thermofisher King Fisher Flex and Perkin Elmer Chemagic 360 platform supporting automated extraction of a variety of human liquid biopsy samples and input volumes.
All samples are processed in either a 24 or 96 SBS format with a range of sample types and volumes (200 μl, 400 μl, 500 μl, 2.000 μl) of blood, saliva and blood fractionations for DNA isolation.
RNA Extraction
For RNA extraction we use fully automated spin-column technology with QIAGEN QIAcube systems.

DNA Normalisation
DNA normalisation allows for a collection of samples that have gone through an extraction process to be presented to a downstream assay or processed with a standard concentration and volume, while being economic with your source nucleic acid permitting further work.
Our fully automated DNA normalisation services are provided using Tecan Freedom Evo liquid handling workstations that incorporate absorbance and PicoGreentm quantification systems. DNA can be normalised from any starting labware to any labware required for downstream analysis. These fully automated systems record all associated data and track samples using barcode readers.
