Matt has joined the UK Biocentre in February 2024 and oversees the finance function. With a strong background in commercial finance, Matt excels in delivering comprehensive financial analysis and driving strategic decision-making processes. His career includes roles at Nurtur, AstraZeneca, and Abcam, where he honed his skills in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, GCMA) and holds an MSc in Chinese Business & Management from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
Matt is based in Cambridge where he lives with his wife and daughter.
