Sam's professional journey began at Lloyds Bank, where he started as a messenger in a youth training scheme. With time, he ascended the ranks, transitioning from customer service to account management and ultimately becoming a Senior Bank Manager in Aylesbury.
Following this banking success, he transitioned to a different realm, serving as a Behavioural Coach at Oakhill Prison for six months, contributing to personal growth and rehabilitation of under 18’s.
In 2020, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam joined UK Biocentre, initially taking on the role of sample receipting. His dedication and capabilities quickly led to his promotion to Supply and Demand Planning Manager in February 2021. In April 2022, he advanced further to become a Sample Inventory Manager, and in April 2023, he assumed the role of Head of Logistics. By August 2023, Sam had progressed to Head of Operations and in June 2024 he's taken on the role of Director of Operations.
